This is my first book.
What inspired me to write this book?
Well through the years I have been tested thousands of times and in many of these times I have failed God. When one is surrounded by the evils of the world the tastes of temptation shows its ugly head to move the soul into the bowels of hell. I have tasted the bitter fruit but deep in my heart I was given the strength to resist and battle back. In consequence, unfortunately the toll was great. It hardened my heart and I became obsessed with my work at the expense of my relationships and family. My spirit waned from the Word of God, but again He never gave up on me. After crushing calamities He spoke to me. God gave me a guided hand with my artwork and from my heart I write with his guidance. I am no Biblical scholar, just a growing Christian.
Is this story about me?
No it isn’t. It’s about every person that puts on a badge, or fights a fire, or gets up in the morning to do God’s work. It’s a story about families that grow together and feed the earth and the heavens with all that is Good about this world. Even though we all face difficulties throughout our days, the sun will shine brighter and the breeze in our face will refresh us with the sweet scent of happiness. We just have to recognize the seed of hope and nurture it into a tree.
Faith is my Shield, and God’s spirit is my Sword.
